SITE
96 Elizabeth Street Ashfield - ‘Centennial House’ is listed as local heritage item, and is also listed on the Register of National Trust. The site provides evidence of the rapid development of Ashfield in the late 1800s following construction of the Ashfield Railway Station. Due to its scale, prominent corner location and highly decorative neo-classical detailing, the building has local landmark qualities, and its Victorian era façade is a good, relatively intact example of late Victorian era architecture.
