The Dymock’s Building at 424-430 George Street Sydney is listed as a local heritage item. The building is a historically and aesthetically significant landmark building within the Sydney CBD and has been associated with Dymocks booksellers since 1890. The building’s distinctive grey granite terracotta tile-clad façade is an excellent example of Inter-War Commercial Palazzo style architecture. The building’s interior also retains much of its original fabric including terrazzo floors, and silky-oak shop entry doors.
